Battle Report: Fiona The Black vs. Adeptis Rahn 15pts

I can't believe I forgot to post this, and especially when I made a point to dress up fancy for this particular video...

You Can Do This, Too!

Projects from 2008

A couple summers ago, during the early days of SteamPoweredTV I did a video on random "ready to paint" projects - and they took up a lot of space. Well, now I've got them all consolidated down to a couple of drawers. To be fair, half of them became finished projects and the other half went into their respective game cases. But, it still feels like I did a lot.

Battle Report: Epic Caine vs. Kreoss 35pts

Part One

Part Two

So, my FLGS recently acquired one of the Games Workshop LOTR display boards, and I just had to get a game in on it. So, I brought my Storm Research Station and grabbed a few birch trees and we played a game on a more cinematic battle field. The idea was that both sides were to be fully painted, but I couldn't get the Black 13th Gun Mages painted in time for the game. But they were painted enough to make it into my list.

During this game two situations came up that Tom and I dread when we play each other. The first is what we like to call "Epic Fail" and that's when the both of us are getting really crappy dice rolls. The second situation is what I like to call "ass dragging game" and that's when the game just seems to go one forever. And, the "ass drag" seemed to begin after the second round when there was always "something" in the way of potential assassination attempt. So, Kreoss was unable to "pop-n-drop" me, my assassination run was more of a "let's get this over with" than the full on assault I tend to prefer with Epic Caine.

All and all, this was a really fun game and it was a nice treat to be able to play a game such as this on something so beautifully made. This is also the last game of Warmachine or Hordes that I'll be able to play for at least a month as I am starting a new job after being virtually unemployed for a good year and a half. But once I get settled into my new career I may get some kind of update going to at least this blog on a biweekly basis.

Battle Report: Fiona The Black vs. Epic Makeda 15pts

I've owned my pirate army for the better part of two years, and now I've finally got in a battle report with them.

SteamPoweredTV's Third Faction

More opportunities to change it up, as I an now rolling with the Talion Charter in addition to my Cygnar and Circle Orboros armies. This is also my "travel army" so if I show up at your FLGS I just might have this Army in with me.

VBLOG: Prime MKII Geek-Out

I finally got my hands on the new Warmachine MKII rulebook, and I decided to record myself flipping through its pages for the first time while hanging out at my FLGS:

Finally, A Game With My Mercs

So, I took a break from the field test to get in a game with those merc models I've owned for a couple years, but never played with - and, I also got in a battle report which should be posted within the next few days.

Battle Report: Storm Knights of the 16th vs. The 701st "Iron Rain" Winter Guard Kompany

This special battle report is my own personal farewell to Warmachine MKI. It's something that James and I had been trying to due for nearly over a year. And, now that this game has been played it's going to be MKII from here on out (or until they do MKIII - which ever comes first).

Tuesday Night Warmachine 2009

In late March of 2009 we started meeting up at Paladin's Game Castle and playing Warmachine/Hordes every Tuesday. We've got in a league, played a few tournaments and special events, got in three rounds of the Apotheosis campaign. And, we watched a FLGS expand to accommodate us:

For 2010 I want to see a subscriber count of 1000, and more people (other than myself) doing Warmachine Batreps on YouTube.
