Bak.Anime 2011: Video Scrapbook

Bak.Anime is Bakersfield's annual anime convention, and this year local gamers got a room all to themselves for running tournaments and demos. Miniature Wargames were represented with events for Warmachine/Hordes and Malifaux. Take the ticket. Ride the ride.

This Old House

A "Steampunk" house for Warmachine that I began working on over three years ago that I recently finished in time for a tournament at a local Anime Convention.

Yo Dawg! I heard you like Warmachine.

Internet LOL memes are popular among my friends, and I've made a few demotivationals in my day but this was something I couldn't resist.  During a Warmachine tournament at Bak.Anime 2011(Bakersfield's Anime Convention) our localHeroclix judge (Percy from the Pirates vs. Pirates Battle Report) gave us a promotional HeroClix figure of Marvel Comics' Warmachine, and from that point the joke just told itself.

We had a blast at the Con, and we exposed Warmachine/Hordes to Bakersfield's greater geek population.   And I got enough footage to produce at least three-to-four different videos (including two complete battle reports), so on that front I'm happy.

Knocked Down Models In Warmachine/Hordes

SoCal Smackdown 2010 Interviews

I did a reedit of the SoCal Smackdown Interviews with the addition of commentary about my experiences at the convention. As originally described back in September, "The SteamPoweredTV Crew travels to the 2010 SoCal Smackdown gaming convention in Anaheim, Ca.
